 I’m not here to tell you how to live your life. I don’t believe there is one right way to heal, one right way to struggle, or one right way to be human.

Bring all of yourself here. The parts you understand. The parts you hide. The parts you’re proud of and the parts you’re still trying to make peace with. You won’t find judgment here.

What you will find is me—sharing my own life as honestly as I know how. The fear. The faith. The Gremlins. The Dragons. The things I’ve learned and the things I’m still figuring out.

For more than thirty-five years, anxiety and depression have been part of my story. Somewhere along the way, I gave my anxiety a name: the Gremlins. They eventually found their way onto the pages of my first book, Living With Gremlins.

But writing that book didn’t give me a tidy ending. If anything, it opened the door to a bigger question: What if healing was never about getting rid of the parts of ourselves we struggle with?

That question led me here—to Life Happens in the Gray, where I’m exploring what it means to stop choosing between the contradictions inside us. Fear and faith. Humanity and Spirit. Struggle and wisdom. My Earth Dragon and my Spirit Dragon.

I’m not writing from the other side of some perfectly healed life. I’m writing from inside it—raw, imperfect and human.

I don’t have the answers for you. I’m still finding my own. And I’m never going to tell you that the life you’re living needs to look more like mine.

I’ll simply share what I’ve lived, what I’m learning, what I question, and what I’m still discovering—and maybe somewhere in my stories, you’ll recognize a little of your own.
